Outdoor hospitality show Salon SETT is aiming to further strengthen its European presence and significance at its 2026 edition with the participation of six foreign delegations and federations from Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Portugal.
Taking place in Montpellier from 3 to 5 November, Salon SETT will host more than 730 exhibitors from across the entire open-air tourism market, including more than 100 from overseas.
Organisers of the show say that this unprecedented international participation confirms the pivotal role of the trade fair in the European outdoor accommodation market, one year ahead of hosting the General Assembly of EFCO, the European Federation for the sector.
SETT’s continued expansion and growing importance is set against the backdrop of an industry that is enjoying increasing success – Eurostat and EFCO data indicates that there are almost 28,000 outdoor hospitality establishments across the European Union attracting around 400 million overnight stays per year.
Within this market, France leads the rankings by a wide margin ahead of Spain, Italy and Germany (Eurostat): with 7,637 campsites, the French sector recorded a record 147.5 million overnight stays in 2025 (including 45 million foreign tourists, up by +5.4 per cent (INSEE / FNHPA), with an overall socio-economic impact estimated at 31 billion euros in economic activity and 196,000 jobs (Asterès study for the FNHPA, March 2026).
SETT is therefore ideally placed in the Occitanie region of France – a key area for tourism in the Mediterranean region.
As well as welcoming these international delegations in 2026, SETT will also have a dedicated stand at the entrance to the exhibition to ensure optimum visibility for them and help facilitate interaction with visitors.
The show will also be presenting its new SETT Hospitality brand, which is focused on the café, hotel, restaurant (CHR) universe.
Along with our sister publication and official SETT media partner, Camping Business, Mobile Home Business will be reporting from the show again this year, bringing you all the latest news and trends from this thriving market.
