The second edition of furniture and design event interzum forum italy will take place on 4 and 5 June 2026, with the theme of ‘Beyond the Furniture, Towards the Future’.
The show, which takes place at the Bergamo Exhibition Centre, aims to highlight the latest trends and innovations across the design world and will explore key issues in contemporary living, including the growing relevance of sectors such as recreational vehicles and boating – areas in which the show organisers believe the design, concepts, components, and accessories are becoming part of a shared language in the design world.
As well as showcasing varied exhibitors and offering a wide range of opportunities to meet with like-minded industry experts and influential figures, iterzum form italy will also run a strong programme of conferences.
These will include topics such as: the outlook of the national market and the dynamics of international markets one year on from the introduction of new trade tariffs; Interior design trends: the evolution of lifestyles in residential spaces, boats and yachts, planes, trains and RVs; Surface textures, colours, and components: a long-term view of megatrends and the strategic initiatives of global companies; The low-impact design supply chain: from the Ecodesign Directive to sustainability reporting; Innovation in materials and production processes; and AI and digitalization as enablers of design and production.
A key aspect of interzum forum italy is its partnerships with the Professional Architects’ Associations of Milan and Bergamo, of which qualified architects and designers will be present throughout the two-day duration of the show.
A wide range of other partners will also support the show, including AIPI (Associazione Italiana Professionisti Interior Designers), EBIA (European Bedding Industries Association), NBF (the British National Bed Federation), EFIC (European Furniture Industries Confederation), CSIL, CATAS, the AHK research centre (German-Italian Chamber of Commerce), the Digital Innovation Observatories from the School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano, and the POLI.Design consortium company.
The show will see the presentation of the interzum forum italy award, which will be across two categories: Innovation and ESG and Sustainability.
