Applications are open for annual FNHPA Sustainable Development Awards

French open-air tourism organisation the Fédération Nationale de l’Hôtellerie de Plein Air (FNHPA) has opened applications for the fifth edition of its annual Sustainable Development Awards.

The awards are designed to recognise sustainable initiatives run by campsites that are FNHPA members across a variety of different themes such as preservation of biodiversity, landscape and urban planning, mobility, housing and construction, production and management of energy, adaptation to climate change, and responsible management of tourist flows.

Entries will be judged across a range of categories by a jury that includes the President of the FNHPA, Nicolas Dayot, representatives of the specialist trade press, members of consumer associations and organisations involved in tourism and environmental sustainability.

Winners will be invited to attend the FNHPA’s National Congress, which will take place in November at the Salon SETT show in Montpellier.

Companies that are interested in entering the awards must do so by 30 June 2026 with a full description of their initiative, along with supporting photos, videos, and applicable press coverage.
