The entry deadlines for two major awards in the camping and open-air tourism industry have been extended to the end of the month, giving hopeful winners more time to complete their applications.
The 2025 Sustainable Development Awards, organised by the French association Federation Nationale de L’Hotellerie de Plein Air (FNHPA), and the PiNCAMP Awards 2026 have both extended their deadlines for entries until 31 August 2025.
FNHPA’s Sustainable Development Awards, which are in their fourth year, exist to recognise sustainable initiatives from the organisation’s members across themes including biodiversity, landscape and urban planning, production and management of energy, adaptation to climate change, responsible tourism management, and housing and construction.
Winners of the awards will be announced at the annual FNHPA National Congress at the Salon Atlantica in Niort, France, in October.
The PiNCAMP Awards are organised by PiNCAMP, alongside ANWB and TCS, and are among the most prestigious of their kind in Europe in the camping industry.
Winners will be recognised across five categories, including Innovation and Progress, Sustainability and Environmental Awareness, Rental Accommodation, Young Talent, and Hall of Fame.
A special gala evening in Stuttgart, Germany, in January will be where the winners are announced, with those campsites and individuals who succeed gaining European-wide recognition.
