BHI – Bio Habitat Italia wanted to celebrate with its customers, suppliers, employees, journalists, and friends the milestone of the 10,000th mobile home produced in Italy. The event took place at the Brazilian restaurant La Mulata in Riccione, on the evening of the first day of the InOut | The Contract Community fair in Rimini, during the BHI Brazilian Party, a celebration with samba music and picanha dishes.

Camping Business was one of the event’s partners and supported BHI in organizing the evening. The introductory greetings were delivered by Gianfranco Vitali, president of FAITA-FederCamping Emilia-Romagna, who invited all attendees to participate in the Forum Open Air, the national meeting point for the outdoor tourism industry, scheduled for October 28th and 29th at the Auditorium del Massimo in Rome.
Raffaele Meloni recalled some key milestones of BHI, the Italian subsidiary of the French Bio Habitat, a European leader in the design and production of mobile homes, which has built over 260,000 mobile homes in nearly 30 years. Since 2012, BHI has made a significant contribution by producing more than 10,000 mobile homes at its facility in Castello d’Argile, near Bologna.

The evening alternated between more formal moments and others filled with fun and excitement, including a top-level performance of Brazilian dances and costumes. Special attention was also given to the sponsors, particularly ACSI and Repower Italia, the main partners of the evening, up until the awards ceremony recognizing key figures who helped achieve this milestone, such as: Philippe Raoulx, South-East France and Italy Manager of Bio Habitat; Matteo Motta, Head of Procurement and Materials Warehouse at BHI; Andrea D’Alcamo, Head of Assistance at BHI, and his entire team.

It was a unique opportunity to relax, have fun, enjoy delicious Brazilian culinary specialties, and be swept away by the rhythm of the music. It also provided a chance to meet stakeholders from the Italian and international camping industry and create new connections in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality.
