CampExpo is a brand-new trade fair dedicated to the camping industry, set to take place on 28–29 October 2025 at the Pyramide Mainz, near Frankfurt. Organised by CampExpoUG, the event will cover 2,000 square metres and is designed exclusively for industry professionals. Founded by Dietmar Jankowski and Thomas Arnold, the fair aims to bring together campsite operators, service providers, and industry experts to collectively shape the future of camping.
CampExpo will serve as a professional platform for companies to showcase their products and services, network with peers, and explore key topics surrounding the management of open-air hospitality facilities.
The event will focus on core industry themes such as digitalisation, sustainable management, marketing strategies, and technical infrastructure. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of solutions, including digital booking and management software, rental accommodation options such as mobile homes, glamping tents, and bungalows, as well as innovations to improve sanitation facilities and service efficiency. Also featured will be tools for online marketing and campsite visibility, access control technologies, reliable connectivity systems, and professional consultancy services in the financial, legal, and energy sectors.
CampExpo is strictly a business-to-business event and is not open to campers or the general public. The initiative is supported by key industry players, including PiNCAMP and the BVCD (the German Federal Association of Campsite Entrepreneurs).
