Marriott Bonvoy launches the Outdoor Collection brand

Global hotel brand Marriott Bonvoy has revealed a new brand, Outdoor Collection, which aims to offer its customers a curated portfolio of outdoor-focused stays set in remarkable locations.

The stays listed include tiny homes, mobile homes, and other unique outdoor hospitality accommodation types that are all designed to give those staying there easy access to nature alongside the home comforts of a hotel.

The brand was revealed at the same time as a new digital platform called Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, which will allow users to book stays based on what outdoor activity they want to do rather than simply where they want to go.

As well as being able to search more than 450 hotels and 50,000 homes and villas, Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors allows travellers to access outdoor activities such as skiing, glamping, hiking, surfing, fishing, and paddle sports.

“We built Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors to help people, whether that’s cresting a mountain trail, catching the perfect wave, or simply finding quiet under the stars,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, Marriott International.

“With the new Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, our curated Marriott Bonvoy reconnecting with yourself and the people you love in the places that inspire you most. With the new Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, our curated Marriott Bonvoy Moments, and even playful activations like the Drop Pin Challenge with Dylan Efron, we’re not just offering places to stay, we’re opening doors to experiences that inspire, connect, and stay with you forever.”

The two inaugural brands of the Outdoor Collection are named Postcard Cabins and Trailborn Hotels. The former is a range of 1,200 design-forward cabins in 29 different locations across the United States that give travellers Scandinavian-style interiors and easy access to trails.

The Trailborn Hotels aim to combine outdoor adventure and boutique hospitality in iconic locations such as the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Grand Canyon.
