Fleksihus AS, a Norwegian manufacturer of tiny and modular homes, has founded a subsidiary company in the United Kingdom to be known as Fleksihouse UK Ltd.
The new British arm of the business will be headed up by modular systems industry expert Anthony Broome, who has been appointed as the UK Sales Director.
In a statement on LinkedIn, Anthony Broome said: “It is my privilege to be involved in establishing Fleksihouse UK as part of the expanding Norway-based Fairdeal Group. Bringing this tried, tested and trusted modular building product and service to the UK, utilising and replicating Norwegian values for the environment, quality and innovation since the early1980s, finally makes perfect sense to me.
“Fleksihouse UK with combined support from the Group, will bring the necessary skill and experience in manufacturing and delivery of beautiful cost-effective modular accommodation solutions, portable temporary or permanent, along with customer service excellence as standard.
“Whilst our international capability allows us to deliver any scheme in modular, anywhere in the world, here in the UK we will initially focus on the leisure and temporary accommodation sectors offering eco-lodge, cabin and small homes and grow into other sectors at the right mutual pace. I look forward to being of service and showing you how we do it.”
Fleksihus, which is part of the Fair Deal AS Group, is a specialist in modular and tiny housing and aims to help the market for affordable housing by offering a concept of small homes made in as sustainable a way as possible.
It adheres to standards set out by the MiljøSmart (EcoSmart) concept, which helps to promote more environmentally friendly operations and responsible use of resources in businesses.
The company makes a wide range of tiny and modular homes, which can be made according to the needs of the customer.
