Dutch glamping fabrics producer TenCate Outdoor Fabrics is celebrating 40 years of successful partnership with Greek shading industry expert NYFAN.
First established in 1985, the long-standing partnership between the two companies has helped them both push boundaries and set new standards in the fields of durable and printable fabrics for solar shading.
Originally, NYFAN started as a distributor of TenCate’s sun awning canvases but later began producing and supplying its own sun awning systems, including pergolas and screens.
NYFAN has grown to become a market leader in Greece by utilising fabric from TenCate – more than 15,000,000 metres of sun awning fabric, of which almost 2 million has been digitally printed, has already been incorporated in sun awning systems in the Greek market.
A statement by TenCate said: “Built on the foundation of TenCate’s high-quality technical fabrics, NYFAN has established a unique position in the market and successfully grown NYFAN TenCate into the most recognised brand in the Greek solar shading industry. What began with an unexpected visit to Nijverdal by Mr John Makris in May 1985 has evolved into a long-standing collaboration – one in which the next generation at NYFAN has now proudly taken the lead.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to NYFAN for this remarkable achievement and for the decades of partnership.”
NYFAN says that its workmanship, like that of its network of partners, is governed by three principles: reliability, consistency, and quality.
