French outdoor accommodation manufacturer Cistébois is marking its eighth anniversary in 2026, and remains committed to its passion for wood and creating innovative solutions for outdoor tourism providers.
The company, which is based in Beaulieu-sous-la-Roche in Vendée, was founded in 2018 by Bruno Trouvat, who brought with him 25 years of experience in the industry, including 20 years in outdoor hotels.
Today, it is a specialist in the manufacturing of mobile homes, residential chalets, and other outdoor accommodation units that are ideal for a wide range of applications.
One of the company’s most recent products is its new A-Frame, which it revealed at the most recent edition of trade show Salon SETT in Montpellier.
This triangular unit is built on a movable chassis like a trailer, making it easy for site owners to place and move, and features four-season insulation, simple turn-key installation, a sheet metal roof, and several different size options to accommodate different numbers of guests.
A statement from Cistébois about the anniversary said: “From the workshop of our beginnings to today’s series, the road travelled is immense. The machines have changed, the team has grown, but the passion for wood has remained intact.
“Thank you to those who have been there since day one and to those who have joined us on the way.”
As well as being focused on high-quality production, Cistébois also has a strong emphasis on reducing its carbon footprint as much as possible.
The company has chosen a responsible and innovative approach to minimise its environmental impact. Its constructions are carried out off-site, which significantly reduces movement and greenhouse gas emissions.
