Two leading manufacturers of open-air tourism accommodation are coming together under the same roof after a recent acquisition by the Exclusive Lodge Group.

The French company, which already owns high-end lodge tent manufacturer Sunairlodge has announced it has acquired wooden chalet specialist and fellow French brand Eskuria – bringing together two prominent brands in the outdoor accommodation market.

In a statement on the Sunairlodge LinkedIn page, the company stated: “While Sunairlodge is known for its exceptional lodge tents, designed to offer a total immersion in nature, Eskuria stands out for its solid wood chalets, elegant, robust and designed to last.

“With these two strong brands, we are expanding our offer to better meet the expectations of tourism professionals.

“Nature, know-how, manufacturing quality: Eskuria and Sunairlodge are united by the same values. Our union opens up new perspectives for creation, projects and inspiring collaborations.”

Two brands of tradition and sustainable ideas

Eskuria is based in the heart of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France and manufactures light, scalable, and demountable wooden chalets especially for campsites and residential parks. All its chalets are made from wood that’s sustainably sourced from French forests, creating accommodation that is in harmony with nature and the landscape. It is also a company known for its high-quality and well-regarded after-sales service.

Headquartered in Toulon, France, Sunairlodge has been producing high-end safari-style tent lodges since 2009 with its team of experts who are well experienced in the tourism industry. The company prides itself on high standards of quality and robustness in its lodges and all the materials used in its manufacturing plants are ISO9001 certified. It also claims that the qualities of its canvases and reinforcements go far beyond European standards.
