Ekolinea receives financial support at new headquarters inauguration event

Designer and manufacturer of artisan wood and reed structures for outdoor spaces, Ekolinea, recently held an official ceremony to inaugurate its new premises in Bellegarde, France.

The event was attended by representatives from local organisation Communauté de Communes Beaucaire Terre D’Argence (CCBTA), including its President and Mayor of Bellegarde, Juan Martinez, who presented Ekolinea with a €50,000 grant to help it establish undertakings in the area and encourage the creation of sustainable jobs.

“This financial assistance is a key lever for supporting Ekolinea’s growth and sustaining its business, particularly in the face of the flood risks associated with its location in the artisanal area,” Juan said.

Ekolinea Manager, Xavier Perret, added: “We were looking for a place to grow, create, transmit and endure. Thanks to the support of the CCBTA, that was possible, and we are deeply grateful to them.”

The ceremony took place at the new Ekolinea showroom in a wooden structure sheltered by reed umbrellas to underline the company’s identity. It was attended by customers, elected officials, partners, and suppliers.

Ekolinea has 150 years of experience in its craft and is a specialist in wooden structures, wood cladding, reed parasols and roofing, and wooden terracing.

It moved to Bellegarde at the end of 2024 and is hoping to enjoy a successful 2025 with its current turnover in line with expectations and several new projects underway.

The company is well-established in the outdoor tourism industry and is hoping to push for growth in the traditional hotel market in the future.
