French open-air tourism association, Federation Nationale de L’Hotellerie de Plein Air (FNHPA), has announced it is hosting its annual National Congress on 7-9 October at the Salon Atlantica show in Niort in Western France.
It will be the 51st National Congress held by the organisation and will include the General Assembly (5pm on Wednesday, 8 October) as well as the Sustainable Development Awards Ceremony (11:30am on 8 October).
Attending Atlantica will also allow trade professionals the opportunity to make an appointment with FNHPA’s legal professionals, including Mr. Barbier, Doctor of Social Law; Maitre Bousquet, Lawyer; and Master Baldo, Tax Advocate. Visitors will be able to speak with these experts about employment law, urban planning, and taxation.
FNHPA will also have a team of small campsite experts who can advise visitors on financing, strategy, and operational management.
Atlantica is a trade show designed for campsite owners, camping accommodation providers, and open-air tourism professionals. This year at Parc Exhibitions Nirot, will be its 28th edition, with last year’s edition attracting 7,250 visitors and hosting more than 500 exhibitors.
The show this year will feature conferences and workshops on innovation, ecological transition, and the revitalisation of small campsites, as well as a presentation on the ‘National Plan for Water Conservation in Campsites’. It will also have a heavy focus on sustainable topics, as will many of the exhibitors.
