The entry period for a prestigious award that celebrates excellence in hospitality design is now open.
The ADI InOut Hospitality Design Award is open to exhibitors at leading hospitality industry show InOut, which takes place at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy from 8 to 10 October 2025.
It will be the second edition of the awards, which invites InOut exhibitors to present innovative and sustainable products across four different categories: design, sustainability, innovation, and bespoke.
Companies interested in entering the awards have until 30 September to submit an entry, which will be reviewed by a jury of experts and design professionals.
The jury includes Designer and Creative Director Piero Sabatini, Architect and Member of the Board of Directors of ADI Elisabeth Francis, and Designer and ADI Delegate Wladimiro Sendings.
The winner of the competition will access the ADI Design Index 2026 selection and the pre-selection for the Compasso d’Oro XXX.
Regulations for the awards stipulate that:
- The application must concern a product or a design service in the field of hospitality.
- The product, project or service must stand out for its originality, innovation and added value in the field of hospitality design. It must be a significant contribution to improving the quality of life and the environment.
- The design must be of high quality, both aesthetically and functionally, demonstrating a balance between form and function.
- The product or project must demonstrate attention to environmental, social and economic sustainability aspects, considering the entire life cycle.
- It must have been produced or marketed by an Italian company or made by an Italian designer or a team of Italian designers.
- International collaborations are also allowed, as long as there is a significant Italian contribution.
- The product or service must be released in the year 2025.
- For a self-candidate to the prize, it is necessary to provide complete documentation of the product or project, which includes detailed descriptions that can help the selection commission evaluate the work in the pre-selection phase.

Registration open for show
Registration for the 2025 edition of InOut Expo also recently opened via the official website. Registration for the event is free for those in the design and hospitality industries.
