Optimism and pragmatism: the key themes of SICAM 2026 exhibition

The 17th edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, concluded with a final attendance of 24,100 trade visitors. The show, which took place in Pordenone in northeast Italy, hosted an impressive 698 exhibitors and covered more than 19,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Fiere Pordenone.

Show organisers, EXPOSICAM, confirmed that the 24,100 visitors represented around 9,450 different companies from 125 countries, and that 59 per cent of visitors were from Italy, with Germany, Spain, England, France, Greece, the Balkans and Eastern European countries following. Outside of European attendees, China, the United States, and India topped the visitor rankings.

EXPOSICAM also said that the quality of visitors to the show was evident, stating that: “People come to SICAM for much more than a casual look around. They come to see and experience first-hand the decorative surfaces, mechanisms and solutions that will shape the furniture collections showcased at upcoming trade fairs around the world.”

The exhibition is designed to be an inspiring setting for attendees to gather ideas for the future, by creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. EXPOSICAM says it wants to allow exhibitors and visitors the chance to step away from the pressures and challenges of the moment, bringing a much-needed sense of optimism to the entire industry and opening up fresh perspectives on the future.

The event was further enriched by a series of prestigious occasions and accompanying initiatives, including “Enjoy Pordenone with SICAM”, the programme of events around the city championed by the Municipality of Pordenone, which once again reaffirmed the close ties between SICAM and the city.

Next year’s edition of SICAM will take place at the same venue from 19 to 22 October 2027.
