The outdoor hospitality is preparing to kick-off the 2026 tourism season in earnest at one of the industry’s most important shows, Salon SETT, which takes place in Montpellier, France, from 4 to 6 November 2025.

The show, which is an annual gathering of professionals in the tourism, outdoor hospitality and camping industries, will host more 730 exhibitors in 60,000 square metres of exhibition space, and expects to welcome around 18,000 visitors across its three-day duration.

Formerly known as the Trade Show for Tourism Equipment and Techniques, SETT has changed its name to the European Trade Show for Tourism Trends this year to better reflect what it stands for.

Originally created just for campsite managers, the show is now open to all tourism professionals and aims to be a hub for the entire outdoor hospitality ecosystem.

“More than just a trade show, SETT has become a true laboratory of innovation for the entire European tourism sector,” said Philippe Robert, President of the Outdoor Hospitality Federation of Occitanie (FHPA Oc).

“Every year, we see here the emergence of new solutions that will shape tomorrow’s campsites, accommodations and tourist destinations.”

SETT d’OR ready for 17th edition

As well as being a vital networking and idea-sharing space, SETT will also host the 17th edition of the SETT d’Or Innovation Awards, in which there are 63 different innovations from the sector vying to win a prize.

Organised by the Occitanie Outdoor Accommodation Federation (FRHPA Occitanie), alongside six regional partner federations, the competition highlights the most promising solutions for campsites, tourist accommodation, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and local authorities. It will be judged by a panel of industry experts from leading associations and magazines.

Winners will be announced at a special ceremony at 6pm on Tuesday, 4 November, in the IA Centre – Room 1 of the Montpellier Exhibition Centre.

Philippe Robert added: “SETT is not just a showcase: it is the place where concrete responses to changes in the outdoor accommodation and tourism sectors are presented each year. Whether in terms of infrastructure, equipment, leisure activities, applications or software, the 2025 edition marks a new milestone in dynamism with 63 innovations nominated this year, compared to around 50 last year.”
