Australian start-up Unyoked, which specialises in off-grid cabin hospitality, has announced it has agreed a 10-year partnership with Forestry England that will see its cabins installed in woodland locations around England.
The collaboration will begin in 2026, according to a press release report on HospitalityNet, and will see up to 25 cabins that can accommodate up to two people installed at Forestry England locations.
A statement by Unyoked said: “Since our very first cabin in 2016, our goal has been to help more people get to nature more often, because we believe tapping into its benefits regularly can help us all be happier, healthier, more connected to ourselves and those around us, and think more clearly and creatively when we need to.
“This partnership with Forestry England is a big milestone in our mission to do that, and another step in our journey to help make nature a habitual, accessible part of everyday life. England’s forests are rich in history and biodiversity, and we’re excited to provide unique spaces where people can disconnect, recharge, and experience the profound wellbeing benefits of spending time in nature firsthand.”
Up to this point, Unyoked’s cabins have largely been installed on private land – this partnership aims to make the cabins more widely available to more holiday makers.
Founded in 2017, Unyoked’s mission is to raise awareness for the benefits of nature and allow people access to off-grid, minimalist cabins to enjoy those benefits. The company currently has more than 100 cabins worldwide, all of which are designed to help people slow down quickly and connect with nature in a tangible way.
